Last Friday was my son's fifteenth birthday. I can not believe he is fifteen already. Friday morning he and I had breakfast together, and then I dropped him off at school. He wanted me to bring him lunch so I worked from home. It is good I can do things like that.
Friday night Gill and I drove from her current place to her new apartment, trying to figure out the best route from their to her job. I think we need to time another route to make sure it is not better. Since we were on my side of town we did some birthday shopping for my son. I got him the Lego Batman for PS2 and the Max Payne DVD. Gill got him a Star Wars poster. Yeah, he is a geek like me. We also looked at wedding rings.......just for fun. :-)
On Saturday, Gill had plans to hang out with a church friend. I took the time to work on my truck. I got the oil changed, and then replaced the right rear shock that had broken. The oil change place wanted $90 to do it. I bought the shock for $23 and changed it in about 15 minutes. Definitely worth it. I also calculated my taxes. Ugh. I did not reduce my deductions early enough, last year, so I will still have to pay a hefty sum, again. Not as much as last year, but still a lot. That was depressing.
Sunday was church in the morning, then some computer desk shopping, and finally grocery shopping at Wal-mart. Later on that evening we went back to church for some classes they are having. They were good. One was on "Attacking Anxiety". I really liked that one.
This morning Gill kicked me out of bed so I could get to the gym. I needed that. I did 15 minutes on the elliptical machine, then did some chest and upper back. I need to make the gym a more consistent part of my week.
That's all for now.
Sincerely,
Doc

I hear you on the gym stuff - I don't go nearly as often as I should. And Justin's 15...wow!! He'll be grown before you know it.
Ain't it the truth, Jess! It boggles my mind.
