This week the kids were out of school for spring break. I took today off to hang out with them. First off was a movie. We went to see Street Figher: The Legend of Chun Li. My daughter was not impressed. My son LOVED it. It was a martial arts movie. What did you expect?
Afterwards we went to the mall to see if my mom was working. She was not. So we ate lunch at the food court. After that we headed over to the new Christian store over in Colleyville called Mardel's. The kids love that store.
Then it was back to my place to hang out until dinner. Dinner consisted of Chicken Express while we watched Superman Returns on DVD. Yeah, it was kind of a "guy" day, but we saw Race to Witch Mountain last weekend for my daughter. In addition, I signed up for her and I to go to a Father/Daughter dance in April. They have a sign up for dance lessons. I'm nervous about that.
Since my daughter didn't want to get up early in the morning she went back home with her mother. My son and I hung out for a bit watching TV. It was a good day with the kids.
Yesterday in my Hapkido class I got a compliment from my instructor for my performance of a round kick/spinning hook kick combination. That felt good.
Sincerely,
Doc
